We’ve been discussing having a commercial kitchen for the farm, and tonight we took a big first step toward making that happen. To sell our microgreens on a larger scale, a commercial kitchen setup would be beneficial to us as well as the end customer. Tonight, we were on the docket for the monthly meeting of the Larue Co. Planning and Zoning Department to request a change in zoning to allow this to happen.
There’s been a “thing” running around Facebook lately, asking about topics that you could speak confidently on for 20 minutes. Apparently, mine is microgreens and microgreen production!
However, the courthouse cat wasn’t very interested in my presentation.
