Master Composter!

For 4 weeks during August, 2019 - I attended the Master Composter class at the Civic Garden Center in Cincinnati. I've been very grateful that the Hardin County Extension Office has been allowing me to share my new knowledge by teaching a Composting 1 as well as Composting 2 class for their Gardener's Toolbox series. I'm very passionate about waste reduction, and ways that we can all improve what ends up in our trash can (and ultimately the landfill). S’more Summer Fun at S&B

This summer, I've been enjoying hearing from so many people about their summer bucket lists. And how fun for us that visiting an alpaca farm has made the list for quite a few! In response to these requests, we decided to hold a summer fun family event. On July 15 from 5-8pm, we will be hosting "S'more Summer Fun at S&B" at our farm. Alpacas, sheep, making alpaca spit (Elmer's Glue Slime), games, a hayride - and s'mores of course! The cost will be $5/person, and children 3 and under are free. S&B at the Hardin County Farmer’s Market

I want to say a big HELLO to everyone who is looking at the website after finding us at the market! The past 2 Saturdays have been wonderful. Although the Microgreens addition to S&B was a little unexpected, we've had great success at the market sharing our sunflower shoots, pea shoots, and daikon radish shoots - along with our pasture raised lamb.
