Brown the sausage over medium high heat, and then drain the grease. While the sausage is cooking, dice the onion and pears. Remove the sausage from the pan and set aside.
Add onion, pears, and butternut squash to the pan, and cook until everything is softened - about 5 minutes.
Add the seasonings, and stir well.
Return the sausage to the pan, and stir to combine. Then, add the kale salad mix and cook for a few minutes until the greens turn a vibrant color.
