Wash the garlic and parsley, and dry with a clean towel.
Chop the scapes and parsley into very small pieces.
Add the softened butter, chopped scapes, and parsley to the bowl
Stir well to combine
Lay out a sheet of plastic wrap, approximately 12" long
Spoon the butter mixture down the middle of the plastic wrap, making a "log"
Using the plastic wrap, push the butter together. Roll the plastic wrap to cover the butter completely and tuck the ends under to secure.
Refrigerate, to allow the butter to solidify.
Use liberally as vegetable seasoning, garlic bread flavoring, or main dish finishing!

*Experiment with other fresh herbs to customize this easy compound butter recipe! For example, try rosemary + garlic scape compound butter as a finish for lamb chops. Or sprinkle in some cajun seasoning to make a cajun compound butter that could be used to add a little kick to any dish.
