Alpaca Yarn

Our alpaca yarn is from the fleece of six of our precious alpacas here on the farm- Cypress, Emily, Gina, Beate, Willow, and Aspen. Each alpaca has a unique color – ours range from white to light fawn – and together they create a symphony of natural hues that will inspire your knitting and crocheting projects.

This natural fiber yarn is spun by Edwards Woolworks in Stamping Ground, KY. The result is an incredibly soft and cozy yarn perfect for sensitive skin. Alpaca wool is naturally hypoallergenic and ultra-comfortable, making it the ideal choice for anyone looking for a warm and luxurious alternative to sheep wool.

We offer our handmade alpaca yarn in Sport weight – each skein containing  200 yards of yarn in 2 ply.  Also, we have a delicate lace weight with 3 ply and approximately 550 yards per skein. The yarn is so soft and cozy that you’ll want to knit yourself a blanket to snuggle up in as soon as it arrives!

As a small farm and family business, we take pride in creating sustainable products.   The love and care we give to our alpacas is evident in this high quality product!   We hope our alpaca yarn brings warmth, comfort, and joy to your crafting projects and reminds you of the wonderful things nature offers.
